North Korea threatens nuclear attack on Australia
In response to North Korea's threat of a nuclear attack on Australia, New Zealand Defense Minister Brownee asserted that North Korea has "bad intentions".
On the night of April 22, North Korea warned Australia that it could launch a nuclear attack if Australia continued to “blindly follow the US line”.

The North Korean statement was in response to comments by Australian Foreign Minister Julie Bishop earlier this week that North Korea's nuclear program posed a "grave threat" to Australia unless it was stopped immediately by the international community.
The Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) said: “If Australia continues to follow the US in isolating and suffocating the DPRK and continues to be a shock unit for its US master, it will be a suicidal act under the firing range of the DPRK’s strategic nuclear force.”
KCNA said what Ms. Bishop said (about North Korea) was “unforgivable” because it was “an act against peace” and “completely self-defensive activities” by North Korea.
The news agency believes that Australia's defense of America's hostile policy toward North Korea is one of the root causes of the current crisis on the Korean peninsula.
The content of the meeting between US Vice President Mike Pence and Australian Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull was largely related to the issue of North Korea's nuclear weapons and ballistic missiles./.
