News agencyKCNAThe head of the CCKKYL was quoted as saying that the force would destroy the US and South Korea if the two countries made even the slightest "provocative" actions as international tensions escalated to their peak.
The agency's spokesman added that North Korean youth forces are always ready to fight, using 5 million nuclear bombs to wipe out forces trying to spread nuclear disaster to North Korea.
The warning came after South Korea announced that the US THAAD missile defense system was ready to be deployed on South Korean territory to counter threats from North Korea.
Tensions have been escalating on the Korean peninsula in recent days as the US and its allies believe Pyongyang may be about to test a nuclear weapon or an intercontinental ballistic missile. The US has sent warships close to the Korean peninsula while North Korea on April 25 conducted an unprecedented large-scale artillery exercise involving hundreds of self-propelled guns.
While the US declared that all options were open, North Korea also warned that it would respond with the strongest possible response.
