Vietnamese Ao Dai Show at Paris Fair 2015
Paris Fair 2015 (April 29 - May 10) is taking place in Paris - the largest annual fair in France and the 7th largest in Europe.
The Vietnam exhibition area is located at the main entrance of Hall 3 – “Diversity of the World”. And for the past 2 years, the performances of Vietnamese Ao Dai and art have always attracted special attention from a large number of visitors to the Paris fair.
Taking place annually on an area of 220,000 square meters, at the gateway to Versailles, the 15th arrondissement of Paris, the Paris Fair is an event that attracts special attention from the French people and other countries. This is the largest fair in France and the seventh largest in Europe with about 3,500 booths from 50 countries and attracts about 575,000 visitors.

The fair is organized into five groups of goods and services: household goods, environment, world culture, mental health and entertainment. According to statistics, about 85% of visitors make purchases at the fair, with an average value of 700 euros.
This year, there are 42 Vietnamese enterprises participating in the Paris Fair 2015. The Vietnam exhibition area is located at the main gate of Hall 3 - "Diversity of the world"
The Vietnamese booths display many unique Vietnamese handicrafts including lacquerware, silk, rattan and bamboo products, etc. In addition, Vietnamese culinary booths are indispensable.
Visiting the Vietnamese booths at the fair, Vietnamese Ambassador to France Nguyen Ngoc Son expressed his joy at the diverse participation of Vietnamese enterprises. The Ambassador also encouraged Vietnamese entrepreneurs in their quest to conquer the French and European markets; at the same time, he proposed some directions so that Vietnamese products can sell well and have good brands.

In particular, with the initiative and active implementation of the Association of Vietnamese Entrepreneurs in France (AB VietFrance), since last year, Vietnam's participation at the Paris Fair has become more special and attractive with the traditional Ao Dai performance.
This year, designer Ngo Nhat Huy and a number of models from within the country brought to the fair a collection with the theme “Three Regions of Vietnam”. The performance last week received a special response from French, Vietnamese and international visitors and will continue to perform two shows this weekend.
Looking fresh in the traditional Vietnamese ao dai, Ms. Carine Preterre, Director of the Paris Fair 2015, highly appreciated the participation of Vietnamese enterprises in the fair, affirming that Vietnamese enterprises participating in the fair enrich the Paris Fair; the quality of the products is good, attracting customers.
Along with the traditional Ao Dai performance, Vietnam also brought to the Paris fair traditional music and dance performances with the band “Tieng To Dong”.
