Stealing property from previous owner

December 10, 2012 18:34

(Baonghean) -Hung Nguyen District Police have just prosecuted Bui Duc Kien for theft. The most notable thing in this case is that the suspects used to work for the victim and took advantage of the loophole in the security to commit the crime.

Previously, at the end of October 2012, Ms. Nguyen Thi Quynh Nga (born in 1956), residing in Le Mao Ward (Vinh City), went to the Hung Nguyen District Police to report the loss of 24 rolls of water pipes when she deposited the above assets at Hung Hieu Petroleum Company located in Hamlet 3, Hung Thinh Commune, Hung Nguyen District. After receiving the report, Hung Nguyen District Police quickly took action and conducted an investigation to clarify the case.

Accordingly, at around 8:00 a.m. on October 31, Bui Duc Kien (born in 1991), residing in Hamlet 4B, Hung My Commune (Hung Nguyen) discussed with Luu Duc Dang (born in 1991), residing in Hamlet 11, Nam Linh Commune (Nam Dan) a plan to steal the property of the former owner. Because both Kien and Dang previously worked for Ms. Nga, but because of their fraudulent behavior, they were fired by Ms. Nga. Currently, Ms. Nga has a store selling electrical and water appliances in Vinh market and sends goods to Hung Hieu Petroleum Company. During the working process, both Dang and Kien knew that there were valuable assets, so they had the intention to steal.

After careful consideration, Dang rented a car with Kien and went directly to Hung Hieu Petroleum Company to load the goods. There, they loaded 24 rolls of water pipes of various sizes, including 34mm and 27mm. Because both of them had previously frequently loaded goods for their employer, the security guards were not on guard.

Dang sold the stolen property for 10,200,000 VND and divided half of it with Kien. After the incident was exposed, Luu Duc Dang fled. Bui Duc Kien confessed to all his actions.
