In times of trouble we understand each other
(Baonghean) - In recent days, the media across the country has been continuously updating the flood situation in Hoang Mai Town. Like many people, I am extremely saddened. The images of provincial and district leaders, departments, branches, and armed forces such as soldiers and police, regardless of danger, directly risking their lives to join the locality in providing timely direction, visiting, encouraging, and providing essential supplies to people in the flood.
I wonder where the dignitaries and officials like Mr. Nguyen Thai Hop, Dang Huu Nam and some other extremists were when the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Xuan Duong and the leaders of the departments, branches and Quynh Luu district, Hoang Mai town were rolling around in the rainy night to directly direct the rescue work, going to every family in the flooded area regardless of salary or education, to deliver relief goods; when the army and police forces were working day and night, going to every alley and corner to search, rescue, provide relief, and supply food and drinking water? When the sky was calm and the sea was calm, you guys were making up stories, slandering the government, inciting gullible people to cause disorder, aiming to disrupt the economic and social situation. When natural disasters, floods, and calamities struck, you, the "shepherds" abandoned your sheep who were hungry, lacking water, and in danger of their lives, to follow the so-called communion, joint letters... propagandizing, inciting disorder, and opposing the government.
Not only did they promptly respond, provide food and clothing for the people; stand shoulder to shoulder with the people to fight against natural disasters and epidemics after the storm passed and the water receded, the authorities at all levels, functional agencies, military and police forces also stood up to overcome the consequences of natural disasters, stabilize the lives and production of the people, including a large number of parishioners.
Believe that your slander, fabrication and irresponsibility will soon be judged fairly and strictly by law, justice and conscience.
Storm No. 10 has passed, leaving behind countless pains, losses and immeasurable sacrifices. The sacrifice in the rainy, flooded night of Mr. Nguyen Tai Dung, Deputy Director of the Department of Industry and Trade, on his way to the flood-prone area to provide relief and supplies to the people is a convincing proof of the blood bond between "People and the Party, the Party and the People". The people are cadres, cadres come from the people. Cadres are also children, siblings, brothers and sisters, parents... of the people, not coming from the sky, or from the European sky or the Australian sea. Therefore, when people are in trouble, government cadres, security soldiers, and soldiers do not spare their blood, bones, and lives to rush to the most dangerous places to help their compatriots, which is understandable and natural.
It is true as the old saying goes, "Only in times of trouble can we understand each other."
