Policy profiteering

(Baonghean) - Supporting families affected by the blue ear disease is a correct policy of our Party and State, aiming to maintain and develop the pig herd well, which is supported and very excited by the people. But unfortunately, some people take advantage of the policy to profit and appropriate State money. For example: In hamlet 3, Tang Thanh commune, Yen Thanh district, in the list of 5 families receiving support for pigs lost in the recent blue ear disease, there were 3 families who falsely declared to receive the amount of 19,797,500 VND, specifically Phan Thi Hien falsely declared 465 kg of diseased pork to get 12,787,500 VND, Vu Thi Lien declared 73 kg equivalent to 2,070,000 VND, Le Thi Truong declared 187 kg equivalent to 5,142,500 VND.

The above actions were discovered by the people and reported to the police, but until now, the people who went to denounce in hamlet 3 have not received any notice of the inspection and handling, causing anger among the masses. We request that law enforcement agencies investigate and handle the case seriously to deter others who are waiting for the "opportunity" to appropriate State money. If this is the case in just one hamlet, what will happen in other hamlets in Tang Thanh commune as well as other communes in Yen Thanh district?
