Regiment 1 - Division 324: Started construction of gratitude house

(Baonghean.vn) - On May 9, 2014, Regiment 1 - Division 324 coordinated with the Party Committee, authorities and mass organizations of Hamlet 2 - Nghia Thai Commune - Tan Ky District (Nghe An) to organize the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of the "100 Dong House" for comrade Nguyen Van Hoan, Secretary of the Youth Union of Company 2, Battalion 1, Regiment 1 - Division 324.

Comrade Nguyen Van Hoan is one of the particularly disadvantaged people who cannot afford to build a house. This is a project of political significance, demonstrating the attention and support of agencies at all levels to contribute to improving the situation of the families of cadres, union members and youth in the Military Region, creating conditions for cadres, union members and youth to feel secure in completing the task of building and defending the Fatherland.

The house is designed as a level 4 house. The usable area is 80m2 with a total value of 170 million VND. Of which, 50 million VND is taken from the savings fund of 100 VND per day of cadres and youth union members in the entire military region. The regiment supported 300 working days worth 90 million VND, and families, relatives and neighbors contributed 30 million VND.

Lieutenant Colonel Vu Quang An, Head of the Military Region Youth Committee, on behalf of the youth of the Military Region, presented 50 million VND from the savings fund of the "100 VND House" movement.

Leaders of the Military Region Political Department, Division 324, Regiment 1, local authorities and family held the groundbreaking ceremony.
