The patrol force also met with sailors and local people to promote anti-drug propaganda.
The four countries also exchanged information on security along the Mekong River and pledged to strengthen cooperation in combating criminal activities such as gun and drug trafficking.
According to patrol commander Jin Shangwen, the mission this time is very difficult, typically the amount of Thai drugs confiscated this month is more than last month.
He said China, Laos, Myanmar and Thailand will continue to strengthen cooperation to crack down on cross-border drug crimes.
China, Laos, Myanmar, and Thailand began joint patrols of the Mekong River in December 2011, after two Chinese cargo ships were hijacked on October 5, 2011, in Thailand's Mekong River region. The incident left 13 Chinese sailors dead.
During 27 joint road searches and 22 waterway searches, 301 ships with 1,633 people and 21,400 tons of cargo were inspected, more than 100 cargo ships were rescued, and 393 commercial ships were protected in this area./.
