This is the latest in a series of arrests related to espionage.
The station's online news network cited the state security agency in Sichuan province, southwest China, as saying that these defense personnel were suspected of revealing secrets about the testing, production and use of new high-tech weapons.
They also seek to introduce military technical experts to foreign spies.
According to the above source, all four suspects did not know each other even though they worked in the same company.
The report did not specify which foreign intelligence agencies received information from the four Chinese citizens, but cited local media sources as saying foreign spies approached them through social media./.
