China holds military parade to celebrate 70th anniversary of victory over Japanese fascism

According to Kyodo, on June 23, China announced that it will hold a large-scale military parade on September 3 at Tiananmen Square in Beijing, to celebrate the 70th anniversary of victory in the war of resistance against Japanese fascism.

At a press conference in Beijing, a senior Chinese military official said: "The parade will showcase new achievements in implementing the goals of building a strong military and accelerating military modernization."
