China fails to launch Long March 5 rocket
The launch of China's most powerful rocket to date, the Long March 5, was unsuccessful, Xinhua news agency reported.

Representatives of the spaceport previously reported that weather conditions were favorable for the rocket launch. There is no information yet on the cause of the failure.
According to plan, the Truong Chinh 5 rocket needs to carry the 7.5-ton Thuc Thuc 18 communications satellite into orbit.
The problem appeared shortly after the launch, the news agency reported. There is no word yet on what caused the failure. There has also been no comment from officials.
The Changzheng-5 is China's new generation rocket with a height of 56.97 m and a main diameter of 5 m. This rocket can carry 25 tons into low Earth orbit.
