Comments on the opportunities of the Vietnam National Team, captainQue Ngoc Haisaid: “The centralized competition will put any team in Group G at a disadvantage because they will not be able to play at home in the remaining matches. Having to travel and isolate will also force the teams to come up with appropriate training and competition plans.
For the Vietnam national team, each of the remaining 3 matches in the 2022 World Cup Qualifiers is very important. However, the matches against two opponents in the Southeast Asian region, Indonesia and Malaysia, will directly affect the ranking of the Vietnam national team in Group G. Therefore, these are the 2 opponents that the Vietnam national team must determine to have favorable results.
The advantage of the Vietnam National Team when moving the schedule to June is in terms of force. At that time, players with long-term injuries such as Duy Manh and Van Hau will have time to recover and regain their best feeling. We also hope that the Covid-19 epidemic will pass quickly so that V.League 2021 as well as all activities of life can return to normal."
