For a long time, balut (Duck Egg) has been considered a delicious dish and a valuable tonic by our people and some Asian countries. To create this effect, it must be seasoned with fresh Vietnamese coriander and fresh ginger, eaten with hot boiled Balut, dipped in a little roasted salt to taste.
Nutritional value of balut eggs
In our country, there are many types of ducks, but the two types of ducks commonly raised for eggs are: grass ducks and Indian free range ducks. Grass duck eggs are small, each weighing about 60-65g. Indian free range duck eggs are larger, each weighing about 70-80g. During the process of developing from duck eggs to duck eggs (duck fetuses), some substances are consumed and transformed into many substances necessary for the growth of duck fetuses, creating the nutritional value of TVL.
Vietnamese coriander
According to Oriental medicine: Vietnamese coriander is also called water willow, old willow. Vietnamese coriander has a fragrant smell, warm properties, has the effect of dispelling cold, digesting food, brightening eyes, and disinfecting. Eating a moderate amount of raw Vietnamese coriander warms the stomach, strengthens the legs and knees, and brightens the eyes. Eating a lot causes heat and cold, reduces temper, and reduces sexual desire. Menstruating women who eat a lot of raw Vietnamese coriander are prone to menorrhagia. Externally, Vietnamese coriander is effective in treating ringworm (crushed and applied or soaked in concentrated alcohol to apply). To treat snake bites: add some other herbs with fresh Vietnamese coriander, crush and drink the juice, and apply the residue to the bite site.

The dish name - medicine is often simply called "fertilized duck eggs", including 1-2 freshly boiled hot duck eggs and spices: 5g fresh ginger, 5g fresh chopped Vietnamese coriander and a little crushed roasted salt, usually eaten for breakfast.
Functions, calming the taste of the “balut egg” medicine: TVL is the ingredients, has the effect of: nourishing yin, nourishing blood, improving intelligence, brightening eyes, helping the body grow quickly. Vietnamese coriander is a support, has the effect of brightening eyes, strengthening knees, warming the stomach. Fresh ginger is a supplement, has the effect of stimulating digestion, strengthening the heart, detoxifying food, preventing sexual decline (both men and women).
Supplements: TVL has a fairly high amount of vitamin A (retinol) and provitamin A (beta carotene) - these substances must have enough oil to dissolve, so that the body can fully absorb them. Vegetable oils that are good for the human body are sesame, peanut, and soybean oils (containing many unsaturated fatty acids and omega-3). Therefore, the best supplement to go with TVL is a plate of boiled peanuts (or roasted peanuts) or simply drink 1 tablespoon of soybean oil (or peanut oil, sesame oil, olive oil).
Dosage: Children 5-12 years old take 1 TVL fruit/day.
Children over 12 years old - adults use 1-2 TVL fruits/day.
Should be taken early in the morning with a side dish.
Course: minimum 15 days - for stunted children, eat regularly once a day until 16 years old (90% of children who are nourished with TVL for many days have improved height and physical strength more than those who use other supplements). Weak adults should use it for about 60-90 days. During the time of nourished with TVL, it is necessary to combine a nutritious diet (especially fresh vegetables and fruits) to improve work and study. Quit smoking, tobacco, limit alcohol. Regularly exercise moderately.
Caution: during the period of TVL nutrition, you should limit eating liver (chicken, duck, pork, beef...) or taking medicine containing vitamin A with a content of more than 1,000 IU - Because 100g of balut eggs already contains 3,914 IU of vitamin A, not including provitamin A.
