(Baonghean.vn) - On Wednesday, September 16, the groundbreaking ceremony of the VSIP Industrial, Urban and Service Park project in Nghe An (abbreviated as VSIP Nghe An) will take place, witnessed by senior leaders of Vietnam and Singapore, leaders of Nghe An province, leaders of Becamex IDC and Sembcorp Development Group.
VSIP Nghe An is a multi-industry industrial park complex project combined with an urban - service area with an area of about 750 hectares, belonging to the planning of the Southeast Economic Zone (EZ), Nghe An (with a decision to adjust and expand dated03/4/2015). With a total investment capital of about 76.4 million USD, this is the 7th industrial park project in the VSIP project complex invested by Becamex IDC in a joint venture with Singapore's Sembcorp Development Group.
With its large scale, new and diverse fields of operation, VSIP Nghe An is expected to be a highlight as well as a new driving force for the Southeast Economic Zone in particular and the province's socio-economy in general, creating a breakthrough in the development process towards industrialization and modernization, completing the goals set out in Resolution 26 of the Politburo.
