Today, at the historic land of My Son commune, Do Luong district - once a "bomb bag" on the legendary Truong Son road, we solemnly held the inauguration ceremony of the Truong Bon Martyrs' Memorial House. This is a very meaningful activity, demonstrating the morality of "When drinking water, remember its source", paying tribute to the martyrs, an opportunity for us to review the heroic past of the nation, to understand more about the great sacrifices of generations of fathers and brothers - the children of the homeland in their youth who bravely fought and sacrificed for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland.

Project: Preservation and restoration of Truong Bon historical relic site, with a total investment of 175.4 billion VND, was approved by the Provincial People's Committee in April 2010. The project was implemented with many sources of capital from the support and contributions of organizations, individuals, philanthropists at home and abroad and mobilized other legal sources of capital.

The Memorial House for the Martyrs is one of the important items of the project, which started construction in October 2012. After a period of active implementation, overcoming many difficulties and obstacles, the Memorial House has now been completed on the occasion of the 66th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27) and towards the 45th anniversary of the Truong Bon Victory. On behalf of the leaders of Nghe An province, I warmly commend the efforts of the investor, the construction unit, the close coordination of the local government and people to complete the project on schedule. I also acknowledge the deep feelings and gratitude of the collective leadership, officers and employees of the Vietnam Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Industry and Trade who voluntarily contributed and supported funding to build the Memorial House for the Martyrs of Truong Bon.

Truong Bon has entered the history of the nation as an epic of revolutionary heroism, the iron determination to "cut through Truong Son to save the country", "All for the South", has become the sacred soul of the mountains and rivers, a sacred place in the spiritual life of the people of Nghe An and the people of the whole country. This is not only a memorial house with a spiritual and cultural spirit, but also a place for comrades of the brothers and sisters to visit, relive unforgettable memories of a time of bombs and bullets, a glorious time, for the younger generations to remember the heroic past of their ancestors. At the same time, it shows the responsibility and affection of the Party Committee and people of Nghe An towards those who have devoted their youth and blood to the eternal existence of the nation.

In the solemn atmosphere of the ceremony, we are more deeply aware of our role and responsibility in the cause of building and defending the Fatherland. Maintaining the achievements that previous generations have worked hard to build, the Party Committee and people of Nghe An are striving to continue to turn the aspirations and dreams of Truong Bon Martyrs into vivid reality, determined to complete the socio-economic goals set out in the Resolution of the 17th Provincial Party Congress, build a strong homeland, contribute with the whole country to successfully achieve the goal of "rich people, strong country, democratic, equitable and civilized society".

On this occasion, on behalf of the leaders of Nghe An province, I would like to sincerely thank the attention and direction of the leaders of the Party, the State, the Central Committees, Ministries and Branches; thank the organizations and individuals who have actively helped and supported spiritually and materially to build the Truong Bon Historical Relic Site. We believe that, with the joint efforts of agencies, units, domestic and foreign enterprises, and the whole society, the Truong Bon Historical Relic Site will certainly be built commensurate with the stature and significance of a historical - cultural work, becoming a "Red address" to educate revolutionary traditions for cadres, people and armed forces, especially the young generation today and tomorrow...
