The brave soldiers who created the "Legend of Truong Bon" have become immortal, a sacred and noble symbol, a shining example of patriotism not only in the patriotic war but also forever shining for the young generations of the people and especially the Youth Volunteers - Construction and Development Force in the period of innovation and integration.

To express gratitude and commemorate the great contributions of the heroic martyrs who did not hesitate to sacrifice their blood and bones, dedicating their youth to the Fatherland, in 2008, the Party and the State decided to confer the title of Hero of the People's Armed Forces on the collective of cadres and soldiers of Company 317, Team 65 of the Youth Volunteer Force against the US to save the country in Nghe An province. Every year, on holidays, cadres, party members and people come here to offer incense and flowers to show their respect, gratitude and report their achievements to the Youth Volunteers.

In 1994, Nghe An province inaugurated the "Tombstone House", gathering the remains of martyrs here for care and commemoration. In 1996, the Minister of Culture and Information decided to recognize: Truong Bon historical site (grave of the martyrs of the Youth Volunteers who died on October 31, 1968) in My Son commune, Do Luong district, Nghe An province as a national historical - cultural site.

In 2008, the Party and State decided to confer the title of Hero of the People's Armed Forces on the collective of officers and soldiers of Company 317, Team 65 of the Youth Volunteer Force against the US to save the country of Nghe An province to express gratitude and commemorate the great contributions of the heroic martyrs who did not spare their blood and bones, dedicating their youth to the Fatherland (according to Decision No. 1304/QD-CTN, dated September 23, 2008).
