Vietnam - Korea Technical College won first prize in the DIY training equipment contest
(Baonghean.vn) - After 5 exciting days, on the afternoon of October 19, the Provincial People's Committee held the closing ceremony of the 2018 Nghe An Province Self-Made Training Equipment Competition and awarded the winning units. Attending the ceremony was comrade Le Ngoc Hoa - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.
This year’s competition gathered 47 devices from 13 vocational training institutions across the province. The authors and groups of authors participating in the competition are all highly skilled lecturers and teachers who have participated in designing and successfully manufacturing a number of quality works, applying many lectures to serve the training work.

This year's competition is assessed to have many positive changes in quality and diversity in equipment types: from simple models to devices applying modern engineering and complex programming.
In addition, most of the participating devices demonstrated high creativity and the ability to apply scientific and technological advances in research, design and production of training equipment by teachers at vocational education institutions.

At the end of the contest, the Organizing Committee awarded 5 first prizes, 5 second prizes, 10 third prizes and 16 consolation prizes to individuals with creative and highly applicable models.
The first prize for the whole team was awarded to Vietnam - Korea Industrial Technical College. Next were the College of Economics - Industry - Handicraft and Vocational College No. 4 - Ministry of National Defense.

On this occasion, the Provincial People's Committee awarded certificates of merit to the groups winning first, second and third prizes and rewarded individuals with high achievements in the competition.
After this contest, the organizing committee will select quality devices with development potential to participate in the 6th National DIY Training Equipment Contest, scheduled to be held in Thua Thien Hue province in 2019.
