Nghe An College of Tourism and Commerce celebrates Vietnamese Teachers' Day November 20
In celebration of Vietnamese Teachers' Day November 20, last night, Nghe An College of Tourism and Commerce held a celebration and final round of the "Elegant Female Student 2012" contest. Nghe An College of Tourism and Commerce, after 16 years of construction and development, has gradually affirmed its achievements in the field of tourism, hotel and commerce training in the province. With many types of formal training, work-study, joint training, and joint training; at the same time, combining training with consulting and job placement, the school has met the needs and attracted more and more students. Currently, the school has a training scale of 5,000 students/year. Every year, the school tries to exploit and sign contracts with businesses to find jobs for students, with an average of about 1,000 students having jobs. Of which, there are 700 domestic workers and 300 laborers. In the first 10 months of 2012 alone, the school has consulted and introduced jobs to more than 500 domestic workers and nearly 200 laborers going abroad.
At the ceremony to celebrate Vietnam Teachers' Day, authorized by the Prime Minister, Mr. Thai Van Hang presented the Prime Minister's Certificate of Merit to the two Vice Principals of the school, Mr. Dau Chinh Nghia and Mr. Nguyen Truong Giang. On this occasion, units and enterprises also presented 38 gifts to 38 students with difficult circumstances who have excelled in their studies at the school.

Also within the framework of the celebration, the school held the final round of the “Elegant Female Student 2012” contest. 15 female students entered the final round to participate in the traditional ao dai performance rounds; evening gowns; optional costumes; behavioral and professional skills competitions. As a result, the title of Miss belongs to female student Pham Thi Thuy Dung, class NA12 – DNC1, Faculty of Economics. In addition, the Organizing Committee also awarded the 1st Runner-up, 2nd Runner-up and prizes to the best performers in each round.
