Vocational College No. 4 received the Second Class Labor Medal

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of December 6, Vocational College No. 4 - Ministry of National Defense held a ceremony to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the school's founding (December 6, 1993 - December 6, 2013) and received the Second Class Labor Medal.

Attending and sharing the joy with the school were representatives of the Ministry of National Defense, the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs, and the Military Region 4 Command. On the province side, there was comrade Le Xuan Dai, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, along with representatives of departments, branches, and many generations of leaders, teachers, and students of the school through the periods.

Vocational College No. 4 - Ministry of National Defense, formerly known as the Employment Promotion Center of Military Region 4. After 20 years of development, with the motto "quality of vocational training is the first choice - Job creation is the number 1 priority", the school has trained tens of thousands of technical workers and skilled workers with 17 professions at three levels: college, intermediate and primary. In particular, the school has three professions selected for training to meet standards: international standard automotive technology, ASEAN standard welding and international standard industrial electricity. Every year, the employment rate of graduates is nearly 85%, becoming a trusted training address for domestic and foreign enterprises and one of 40 high-quality schools in the country.

Speaking at the ceremony, Major General Nguyen Chi Huong, Deputy Commander of Military Region 4, highly appreciated the efforts of the school's leadership and teachers in the past time. At the same time, he hoped that the school would need to determine the roadmap, planning, and orientation of development goals in the coming years. In particular, focusing on expanding the scale of multi-disciplinary and multi-professional training, training linkages, especially in key fields, suitable to the school's capacity and social resource needs; closely combining "teaching people" and "training professions", ensuring that graduates must be able to do and do well in the specialized professions they have been trained in, have good moral qualities, and truly be useful citizens in the cause of building and defending the fatherland.

With the achievements, authorized by the President, Major General Nguyen Chi Huong - Deputy Commander of Military Region 4 awarded the Second Class Labor Medal to Vocational College No. 4, and the Third Class Labor Medal to Colonel Le Duc Dung - Principal. On this occasion, Military Region 4 and the People's Committee of Nghe An province presented the school with banners with the content "Solidarity, creativity, proactiveness, steady development". The People's Committee of Nghe An province awarded certificates of merit to the school and 9 individuals with outstanding achievements in vocational training.
