The school has set standards for students in class regarding dress, living style, communication... with provisions for strict handling of students who violate the rules, creating a healthy educational environment, training students in discipline. For students in the dormitory area, the dormitory regulations stipulate "curfew" time, strictly prohibiting gatherings that cause noise, affecting the common activities of the dormitory area. In addition to the regulations, the School Youth Union also organizes competitions between dormitory rooms. Mr. Le Viet Vinh - Secretary of the School Youth Union said: "In order for boarding students to have a good living environment, the School Youth Union organizes competitions between rooms, with the criteria: clean, beautiful, and complying with dormitory rules. Every month, rooms that meet the criteria well will be commended and rewarded promptly." Through the competition, the school's dormitory has built model rooms for other rooms to follow. From there, the dormitory living environment is guaranteed, helping students to study with peace of mind.

In addition to the school's students who are allowed to stay in the dormitories, nearly 90% of the remaining 6,000 students have to rent houses outside. Every week, the student management staff and the youth volunteer team coordinate with the staff of the blocks with non-resident students to conduct patrols, check the phenomenon of students staying out late, gathering to drink, and collect information from the landlords... Thereby, the school has measures to educate and discipline students who show signs of unhealthy living.

In the management and security work for non-resident students, the staff of the blocks with a large number of students renting accommodation (mainly in Ha Huy Tap ward - Vinh city) play a key role. They are the ones who grasp information closely and directly carry out the work of ensuring security and order for students in the residential area. To encourage the staff to do this task, every month, the school allocates 300,000 VND to support. In addition, the school regularly organizes meetings with the police force to grasp information about students. For students who show signs of falling into social evils, the school has timely measures to prevent and handle. Thanks to the attention of the school and the coordination of local authorities, the security and order situation of non-resident students is guaranteed.
