Duc is the eldest son in a farming family in Quynh Loc commune, Hoang Mai town. Knowing his situation, although he had good academic performance in 3 years of high school at Bac Quynh Luu High School with a GPA of 7.5, Duc still decided to choose a vocational school instead of enrolling in university. Enrolling in the Vietnam - Korea Technical College due to his high graduation exam score, Duc was selected into the high-quality class of the faculty. This is also one of the first 6 high-quality pilot classes supported by the General Department of Vocational Training for the school. Sharing about his study process at the faculty, Duc said: Because the class is high-quality, it requires a lot of effort from students. Here we are given a lot of priority, but every year the school has a quality screening. Therefore, if you study poorly, you will not be able to keep up.
To be selected for the school team to participate in the Provincial Skills Competition, Duc and many other students had to go through many rounds of skills testing. After nearly 7 months of training, teacher Pham Anh Dung, the teacher in charge of the team, said: Duc has many valuable qualities, especially his love for the profession and eagerness to learn. When entering the competition, despite facing very difficult questions and many advanced welding techniques, Duc completed 90% of them.
Up to now, teacher Pham Anh Dung is also one of the teachers with the best achievements of Vietnam - Korea Vocational College in training and fostering excellent students. From 2004 to now, 7 times teacher Dung has taken students to participate in the Provincial Vocational Skills Competition, all 7 times his students have won first prize. Besides, there are many other students who continue to go further in national, regional and world vocational skills competitions. In particular, Dang Quoc Tuan won first prize in national vocational skills, silver medal in ASEAN vocational skills and world vocational excellence certificate; Pham Van Viet won second prize in national vocational skills, ASEAN vocational excellence certificate; Le Minh Hoang won third prize in national vocational skills.
Talking about his students, Mr. Dung is always proud because compared to many other students, their starting point is not high, but they have known how to strive to assert themselves and bring many achievements to the school, to the province and to the country. The joy is also multiplied when currently nearly 100% of the faculty's students have graduated and have a stable income. This is also a profession that the labor market is lacking, so the opportunity to have a high income is very large, even there are students like Pham Van Viet and Le Minh Hoang whose salaries at oil and gas companies can be up to 50 - 60 million VND/month.

At this time, the school has also received an order to recruit students for a 3-month internship in Korea for 2nd and 3rd year students. As for the final year students, 300 students have just graduated and received jobs while doing their internship. Meeting Mrs. Ho Thi Nam from Nam Dan district to receive her daughter Tran Thi Phuong's graduation certificate at the closing ceremony of the 2016 - 2017 school year, she shared: When my daughter decided to choose the electronics industry, I was very worried. But now that she has finished school and has not yet received her diploma, she has been recruited by Samsung Bac Ninh Company, which is really lucky... Her salary is also twice as high as that of ordinary workers.
Not only does this school create stable jobs, but many of its students have now become successful and hold important positions in many businesses. They are Mr. Nguyen Dinh Hai, currently the Director of the Training Equipment Center of Hanel Company, Nguyen Quoc Bao - Head of Sales Department of MOLDPIA BYUCKJIN Co., Ltd., Le Luong Nguyen - Director of Strongplus Elevator Viet Han Co., Ltd., Vu Van Giap - Head of Design Department - Innointech Vietnam Company.
Sharing about his old school, Mr. Le Luong Nguyen said: Thanks to studying at the Vietnam - Korea Technical College, I was equipped with solid skills, industrial working style and foreign language skills. This is also the basis for me to confidently work abroad and create sympathy and trust for business owners... Previously, after graduating from the Vietnam - Korea Technical College (2001 - 2003 course), the student from Nam Dan district spent nearly 5 years working in Korea. During his time working in the neighboring country, thanks to his high skills, he was trusted with many important positions in the company and was invited by the business owner to cooperate in opening a company specializing in the production of accessories such as bolts and screws. Currently, the company's revenue is nearly 20 billion VND per year...
The success of students is also the greatest achievement of the Vietnam - Korea Technical College after nearly 2 decades of operation. From here, the Board of Directors and the teaching staff of the school believe in the development strategy that the school has been building. In which, one of the main important goals is to build high-quality human resources to meet the requirements of industrialization and modernization of the country./.
