Vietnam-Korea Vocational College of Technology: Closing ceremony of CJ baking training class
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of March 18, Vietnam-Korea Industrial Technical Vocational College held a closing ceremony and awarded graduation certificates to 50 students participating in the first CJ baking training class. Attending and speaking at the closing ceremony was comrade Le Xuan Dai - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.
The CJ Bakery Technical Training Center under the Vietnam - Korea Technical Vocational College was established and officially opened its first course on September 16, 2013. The establishment of the CJ Bakery Technical Training Center creates conditions to help Vietnam develop the food and food service sector, and at the same time access and receive transfer of modern bakery processing and production technology according to international standards. The first course is taught by Korean experts. This is the result of a cooperation model between the Koica International Cooperation Company (Korea), CJ Enterprise and the Vietnam - Korea Industrial Technical Vocational College.
After 6 months of attending the course, Vietnamese teachers have approached and mastered the training program and equipment, 81% of students achieved excellent and good grades. Notably, after this training course, 10 students were accepted to work at CJ company. In addition, many students were selected as teaching assistants for the next courses and accepted to work in the CJ Korean bakery chain in Vietnam.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Le Xuan Dai - Vice Chairman of Nghe An Provincial People's Committee acknowledged and highly appreciated the cooperation between agencies and units in transferring technology to develop the food sector and food service products. The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also hoped that in the coming time, Nghe An will continue to receive attention and support from the Korean International Cooperation Agency and CJ Company in training and developing the baking profession. In addition, the CJ Baking Technical Training Center - Vietnam - Korea Industrial Technical Vocational College also needs to promote its functions well, expand vocational training, and create jobs for many workers.
