Nghe An College of Education opens new school year 2011-2012
(Baonghean) -This morning, October 15, Nghe An College of Education held the opening ceremony of the new school year 2011-2012.
The speech at the school's opening ceremony highlighted the school's achievements in more than half a century of construction and development. Nghe An College of Education has trained and fostered over 60,000 teachers, staff, and educational administrators for schools from preschool to secondary school in the province and the Central provinces. With these achievements, the school was honored to receive the First Class Labor Medal from the President, and a Certificate of Merit from the Prime Minister, the Ministry of Education and Training, and the Provincial People's Committee....
In the 2010-2011 school year, the school had 1,534 students graduating, reaching a rate of 95%; of which 30 students graduated with honors and 904 students graduated with honors. Notably, in the recent National Mathematics and Informatics Olympiad for Universities and Colleges, the school had 7 students winning prizes. At the end of the school year, the school had 324 teachers and staff achieving the title of Advanced Labor; 21 groups achieving the title of Advanced Labor; 53 emulation fighters at the grassroots level. On this occasion, the Prime Minister awarded Certificates of Merit to the school's Trade Union and to Mr. Tran Anh Tuan, Vice Principal of the school.

In the new school year 2011-2012, the school launched an emulation movement with 10 contents, focusing on innovating management, improving teaching quality; continuing to promote the implementation of "Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's moral example"; enhancing scientific research to serve teaching and learning...
At the opening ceremony, the school organized an award ceremony for students who won prizes in the Olympic competition; awarded prizes to valedictorians; and awarded scholarships from the Inter-Zone IV Pedagogical Council to poor but excellent students.
