Nghe An Political School celebrates 65th anniversary of its founding and receives the Third Class Independence Medal
(Baonghean) -This morning, November 19, Nghe An Provincial Political School solemnly held the 65th anniversary celebration (November 1946 - November 2011) and received the Third Class Independence Medal.
Before that, the school's staff and teachers came to offer flowers at Uncle Ho's statue at Ho Chi Minh Square.
On behalf of the President, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ho Duc Phoc awarded the Third Class Independence Medal to Nghe An Political School.
At the ceremony, comrade Bui Thi Thu Huong - Party Secretary, Principal of the school reviewed the glorious history of the school.... In 1946, the Provincial Party Committee opened the first cadre training class, laying the foundation for the establishment of the system of cadre training and fostering schools later. In 1997, the school was officially named: Nghe An Political School. Promoting the tradition of previous cadre training schools, the school always adheres to political tasks, gradually expanding the types, diversifying the forms, and innovating the methods of cadre training. Currently, the school is implementing 3 intermediate training programs, 6 training programs in conjunction with the Central unit to train bachelors, senior political, bachelors of journalism, bachelors of administration, gradually meeting the needs of standardizing cadres for all sectors and levels, especially at the grassroots level.
On behalf of the provincial leaders, comrade Ho Duc Phoc acknowledged the efforts of generations of cadres and lecturers of the school over the past 65 years; congratulated the school on the occasion of the Vietnamese Teachers' Day, November 20, and received the Third Class Independence Medal - a noble award awarded by the Party and the State. The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee hoped that the school would continuously take care of the work of organizing cadres, continue to innovate the content and methods of training, improve the effectiveness of scientific research, and summarize practices.
On this occasion, the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province presented the School with a banner with the inscription: "Nghe An Political School: Promoting 65 years of tradition, constantly improving the quality of training and fostering cadres for the cause of national innovation."
