This morning, October 25, Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry, Nghe An campus, opened the new school year 2012-2013.
(Baonghean.vn) -This morning, October 25, Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry, Nghe An campus, opened the new school year 2012-2013.Attending the opening ceremony were comrade Ho Duc Phoc - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; leaders of provincial departments, branches and sectors and professors, doctors in the school's training majors, businesses and sponsors.
In the 2012-2013 school year, Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry, Nghe An campus, recruited over 1,500 students, bringing the training scale to 5,000 students, training 5 majors at university level and 12 majors at college and vocational college level. After nearly 5 years of operation, Nghe An campus is gradually expanding the training scale, improving the qualifications of lecturers, innovating the curriculum and teaching materials, and applying modern equipment to practice... to improve the training quality, ensure output standards, and meet social needs.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, on behalf of the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People's Committee, comrade Ho Duc Phoc highly appreciated the results the School has achieved in the past 5 years, and acknowledged the school's contributions in training human resources for the province. The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee hopes that the School will innovate teaching methods; do a good job of approaching and exchanging cooperation with businesses and employers, linking training with job creation; strive to upgrade the School to Vinh University of Technology by the end of 2012 with many majors and many levels of education in a formal and modern direction.
Awarding Certificate of Merit from the Ministry of Industry and Trade to school lecturers
On this occasion, the Ministry of Industry and Trade awarded Certificates of Merit to 3 individuals; recognized the title of Emulation Fighter at the grassroots level to 17 individuals; and commended 35 students with excellent achievements in studying and training in the 2011-2012 school year.
At the opening ceremony, organizations and businesses donated nearly 250 million VND in support to the school's poor students.
