Vinh University: Awarding doctoral degrees to 12 graduate students

(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of October 3, Vinh University held the Opening Ceremony of the 22nd graduate course and awarded doctoral degrees in 2014.

This year's XXII graduate course has 523 students who have just passed the graduate entrance exam with 21 majors, including 1 foreign candidate. This is the second enrollment period of the school this school year, bringing the number of graduate students this school year to more than 1,000 people. Among these students, in addition to training at the main campus of Vinh University, more than 200 other students are trained at Dong Thap University, Saigon University, and Long An University of Economics and Technology.

Awarding doctoral degrees to students

Postgraduate training is one of the main training programs of Vinh University with 31 master's training majors and 15 doctoral training majors. After 22 years of training, Vinh University has had nearly 200 people receiving doctoral degrees and more than 7,000 people receiving master's degrees. In 2014, there were 28 people doing research and 12 other research students were recognized and awarded doctoral degrees.
