F1 case returning to Tho Thanh commune to attend the ancestral ceremony has tested negative for Covid-19
(Baonghean.vn) - After F1 tested negative for SARS-CoV-2 virus, 56 F2 cases being quarantined at Tho Thanh Commune Kindergarten will be allowed to quarantine at home.
Dr. Nguyen Van Dinh, Director of Nghe An Province Center for Disease Control, informed: Hanoi CDC has just announced the first test result of case F1 HST (permanent residence in Tay Trung hamlet, communeTho Thanh, Yen Thanh district; a close contact of patient 3171) is negative for SARS-CoV-2 virus.

Currently, 56 F2 cases are being quarantined at Thi Thanh Kindergarten. After receiving official test results from Hanoi CDC, Yen Thanh district will deploy these F2 cases to quarantine and monitor at home.
As reported by Nghe An Newspaper: Patient 3171 is the daughter-in-law and works at the same company in Ha Dong district, Hanoi with F1 case Mr. HST. On May 6, 2021, Mr. HST traveled from Hanoi back to Tay Trung hamlet to attend the family's ancestral ceremony and came into contact with many people there. On May 7, Mr. HST returned from Tho Thanh to Hanoi for work.
Immediately after case 3171 was announced, Mr. HST was quarantined by Hanoi city and tested on the afternoon of May 8. Nghe An Department of Health and the provincial Center for Disease Control urgently sent a working group to Tho Thanh commune to investigate and test F2 cases. 56 F2 cases were found and tested./.
