(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of August 28, Nghe An Provincial Military School closed the training course on national defense and security knowledge for subject 3 for heads and deputy heads of departments and branches of districts, cities and towns in the whole province in 2014. During 12 days, 84 comrades who are heads and deputy heads of departments and branches of districts, cities and towns in the whole province have received basic contents on people's war to protect the socialist Fatherland in the new situation; Prevention of the strategy of "peaceful evolution", riots and overthrow of hostile forces; Some issues of state management on national defense and security; some knowledge on building militia and self-defense forces, mobilization reserves; building strong and comprehensive communes; contents, tasks and powers of commune level in organizing and implementing local defense and military work; combat activities in defense areas; documents on commanding combat at commune level; transferring local activities from peacetime to wartime, studying security topics, supplementary contents on the current situation of sea and islands, etc.

The class aims to foster and create conditions for students to turn the learned cognitive theory into the mettle and ability to lead, direct, operate, and manage the base to perform local military defense tasks firmly, contributing to maintaining political stability and creating conditions for socio-economic development. At the end of the class, 100% achieved good and excellent results. Of which, 54 comrades achieved excellent results; 9 comrades were awarded certificates of merit by the principal of the provincial military school for their high academic achievements.
