Hung Dung Secondary School receives the title of national standard school.
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of September 3rd, Hung Dung Secondary School (Vinh City) held a ceremony to receive the title of National Standard School.
The ceremony was attended by representatives from the Department of Education and Training, local authorities, and generations of teachers and students from the school throughout its history.

Over the years, in addition to advising and proposing to the authorities at all levels to invest in infrastructure, the staff and teachers of Hung Dung Secondary School have made many commendable efforts in improving the quality of teaching and learning. Currently, the school has a sufficient number of teachers, and 100% of them meet the required training standards, with 90% exceeding the standard and 9% holding master's degrees. The number of teachers who have achieved the title of excellent teacher at the city level or higher accounts for 25%.

On average, each year the school has 15% of its students classified as excellent, and 99.5% of students are promoted to the next grade. In the 2014-2015 school year, 31 students achieved the title of excellent student at the city level, and 7 students were recognized as excellent students at the provincial level. The school is among the top schools in the city in terms of the number of students admitted to specialized high schools, with 39 students admitted to Vinh University Specialized High School and 17 students admitted to Phan Boi Chau Specialized High School.

At the ceremony, representatives from the Vinh City leadership and Hung Dung ward expressed their hope that the school would continue to improve the quality of comprehensive education, further promote the tradition of studiousness, excellent teaching and learning, and strive to complete the tasks of the school year to repay the trust and love of parents and students, and to live up to the revolutionary tradition of the heroic Lang Do village.
