Quang Trung Secondary School received the title of National Standard School

(Baonghean.vn) -This morning, September 4, Quang Trung Secondary School (Vinh City) held a ceremony to receive the title of National Standard School for the period 2012-2017, to build a key school of the city and to organize the Opening Ceremony of the new school year 2012-2013. Quang Trung Secondary School was built in 1981, including both primary and secondary levels, and in 1988 it was separated into the current secondary school. After more than 30 years of construction, the school has a spacious facility with full classrooms, functional rooms and teaching equipment. 100% of the staff and teachers meet or exceed standards; 2 teachers are excellent at the provincial level, 13 teachers are excellent at the city level; the school's educational quality has achieved remarkable results: the rate of students passing the next grade and graduating students is nearly 99%. Last school year, the school had 56 students passing the entrance exams to public high schools; 15 students passed the entrance exam to Phan Boi Chau High School for the Gifted, 12 students were excellent students at the provincial level and 20 students were excellent students at the city level... Notably, at the opening ceremony of the new school year, the school was honored to receive the title of National Standard School for the period 2012-2017 according to Decision 1633/QD UBND-VX and was selected to be built into a key school of the city.
