Le Hong Phong High School is bustling with excitement for the new school year

(Baonghean.vn) - This morning, September 5, comrade Nguyen Xuan Duong - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee attended and celebrated the opening ceremony of the new school year 2012-2013 with teachers and students of Le Hong Phong High School, Hung Nguyen District. Also attending were leaders of departments, branches and sectors at the provincial and Hung Nguyen District levels.

Over the years, Le Hong Phong High School has continued the glorious tradition of 47 years of construction and development, successfully implemented the emulation movement of good teaching - good learning, effectively implemented major campaigns set forth by the industry and the province. In the 2011-2012 school year, the school had 17 students achieving provincial-level excellent students, 15 students achieving high prizes in the Physics and English Olympiads online, 91 students achieving comprehensive excellent students, and 100% of high school graduates. In the 2012 university entrance exam, the school had over 100 students passing their first choice university entrance exams, and 4 students were commended and rewarded by the Provincial People's Committee.

On the occasion of the 110th anniversary of General Secretary Le Hong Phong's birth, the school had two teachers win high prizes in the contest to learn about the life and career of comrades Le Hong Phong and Nguyen Thi Minh Khai. The school successfully organized a seminar on "The life and career of General Secretary Le Hong Phong with revolutionary tradition education", creating a wide range of ideological and political activities inside and outside the school.
