Nam Dan I High School: Celebrating 50 years of establishment and receiving Certificate of Merit from the Prime Minister

(Baonghean) -On the morning of November 12, in a jubilant atmosphere, Nam Dan 1 High School (Nghe An) held a ceremony to celebrate its 50th anniversary (1961-2011) and received a Certificate of Merit from the Prime Minister. Attending and sharing the joy with teachers and students of the school were comrade Nguyen Xuan Son - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Mass Mobilization Committee of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee; representativesRepresentatives of the District Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee of Nam Dan district; Department of Education and Training and thousands of former students of the school from all over the country attended.

National Assembly Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung also sent a flower basket to congratulate teachers and students of Nam Dan 1 High School.

Nam Dan High School is the first high school established in Nam Dan district. Up to now, after 50 years, the school has trained more than 20,000 graduates, more than 9,000 students passed the university entrance exam and over 6,000 students passed the college and vocational secondary school entrance exam.

In the 2011-2012 school year, the school had 90 staff, teachers, workers and more than 1,600 students studying in all grades. The school's teaching staff is growing stronger and stronger. The school currently has 1 PhD, 18 Masters; 171 staff, teachers and workers were recognized as Emulation Fighters at the grassroots level, 64 teachers were recognized as Excellent Teachers at the provincial level...
