Nghi Loc 1 High School celebrates 50th anniversary and receives First Class Labor Medal

Nghi Loc 1 High School was established in 1961, one of the first 9 high schools in the province. When the school was established, there were only 12 teachers and 150 students. During the war years, the school had to evacuate many places, but teaching and learning were not interrupted. Currently, the school has 44 classrooms, with nearly 2,000 students, and a team of dedicated and enthusiastic teachers.

Over the past 50 years, Nghi Loc 1 High School has trained over 20,000 students, many of whom are now senior officials of the Party, Government, and National Assembly. For many years, the school's graduation rate has always been between 98 and 100%. The school has a high number of students admitted to universities and colleges in the province.

Over the past 50 years, Nghi Loc 1 High School has achieved many achievements, recognized as a national standard school, and awarded the Third and Second Class Labor Medals by the State. On this occasion, the school was honored to receive the First Class Labor Medal awarded by the President and the emulation flag of the Prime Minister, and 3 individuals were awarded Certificates of Merit by the Prime Minister. On this occasion, the school was also allowed by the Provincial People's Committee to change its name to Nguyen Duy Trinh High School.

Speaking at the ceremony, Comrade Tran Hong Chau - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council praised the achievements that Nghi Loc 1 High School has achieved over the past 50 years, and at the same time hoped that in the next stage, the school would continue to promote its tradition to achieve more results in the education career. He noted that the school needs to focus on building a team of cadres and teachers who are politically steadfast and professionally skilled; perfecting synchronous and modern facilities to meet the needs of teaching and learning; deserving to be the leading high school training place in the district.
