Nghi Loc 2 High School celebrates its 50th anniversary

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of November 14, Nghi Loc 2 High School held a ceremony to celebrate the 50th anniversary of its founding (1965 - 2015).

Attending the ceremony were comrade Le Minh Thong - Member of the Standing Committee - Chairman of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission, representatives of departments and branches, and many teachers and students of all periods.

Comrade Le Minh Thong presented the banner to the school.

Born in the midst of war, throughout 50 years of construction and growth, generations of teachers and students of the school have competed to teach well, study well, and achieved many high achievements. It is a bright spot in the education sector of Nghe An province with outstanding achievements: the number of students graduating, passing university entrance exams with high scores, and being honored as excellent students of the province is increasing.

Representatives of the Department of Education and Training awarded Certificates of Merit from the Provincial People's Committee to outstanding individuals.

Currently, the school has 80 teachers, 100% of whom meet or exceed the standards, including 15 masters and 17 teachers who are excellent teachers in the province. In recognition of the efforts of teachers and students of Nghi Loc 2 High School, the President awarded the Second Class Labor Medal, Third Class Labor Medal, the Prime Minister awarded a certificate of merit, and for many consecutive years the school has been an advanced and excellent unit at the provincial level.

At the ceremony, the provincial leaders awarded the Certificate of Merit from the Ministry of Education and Training to Nghi Loc 2 High School for its outstanding achievements in the process of construction and development in the period 1965 - 2015. On this occasion, 8 individuals were awarded Certificates of Merit by the Provincial People's Committee./.
