Phan Dang Luu High School receives the title of National Standard School

(Baonghean.vn) -This morning, November 19, Phan Dang Luu High School (Yen Thanh) held a ceremony to receive the title of National Standard School and celebrate the 30th anniversary of Vietnamese Teachers' Day.Comrade Nguyen Xuan Duong - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and representatives of departments, branches and sectors in the province attended to share joy with the school and congratulate the teachers.

Comrade Nguyen Xuan Duong awarded the certificate of recognition of the school meeting national standards to the Board of Directors of Phan Dang Luu High School.

Phan Dang Luu High School, formerly Yen Thanh High School, was established in September 1961. After 51 years of construction, the school has a proud tradition, for decades it has been an advanced school at the provincial level, the leading flag of the general education movement in Nghe An. The school has been awarded the First, Second and Third Class Labor Medals by the President. In 2002, the Nghe An Department of Education and Training selected Phan Dang Luu High School as the first high school in Yen Thanh district to build a standard school, expected to be one of the top schools in Nghe An province.

Celebrating the holidays at Phan Dang Luu High School

To achieve this goal, teachers and students of the school have constantly strived to build the school to progress comprehensively. In the 2011-2012 school year, the school was recognized by the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee as an "Excellent Labor Collective" and especially achieved the criteria of a national standard high school. Recognizing the school's achievements, on October 26, 2012, the Chairman of the Nghe An Provincial People's Committee issued a decision to recognize Phan Dang Luu High School as meeting national standards for the period 2012 - 2017.

At the ceremony, comrade Nguyen Xuan Duong awarded the Certificate of National Standard School to the Board of Directors, staff and students of Phan Dang Luu High School. He praised the efforts and achievements of the school in the past time and congratulated the teachers on Vietnamese Teachers' Day, November 20.

In the morning of the same day, comrade Nguyen Xuan Duong and representatives of departments and branches came to congratulate teachers and students of Bach Lieu Secondary School (Yen Thanh District) on November 20. The discussion with teachers of Bach Lieu Secondary School took place in a joyful atmosphere, warm and sharing.
