Quynh Luu 2 High School received a Certificate of Merit from the Prime Minister

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of November 14, Quynh Luu 2 High School held a ceremony to celebrate the 50th anniversary of its founding (1965 - 2015) and received a Certificate of Merit from the Prime Minister and a Certificate of Recognition for the school meeting national standards.

Attending the ceremony on the province side were comrades: Ho Phuc Hop - Member of the Standing Committee - Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission, Nguyen Thi Kim Chi - Member of the Provincial Party Committee - Director of the Department of Education and Training, Ho Ngoc Sy - Director of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development.

Established in 1965 under the name of Quynh Luu 2 High School, after 50 years of construction and growth, in each historical period, regardless of the circumstances, the school has overcome all difficulties and challenges, steadily growing. From a school with only 4 classrooms, 189 students and 9 staff, teachers and employees, up to now, Quynh Luu 2 High School has 42 solid high-rise classrooms, 98 staff, teachers and employees and 1,570 students; a clean and beautiful campus system, green trees, and a friendly educational environment.

Comrade Ho Phuc Hop - Member of the Standing Committee - Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission spoke and acknowledged the results and efforts of teachers and students of the school in recent years.

Meritorious teacher Vu Ngoc Tuan - Principal of Quynh Luu 2 High School read the commemorative speech.

Students attended the school's 50th anniversary celebration.

Speaking at the ceremony, Meritorious Teacher Vu Ngoc Tuan - Principal of the school affirmed that the achievements of 50 years ago have created momentum for the development of Quynh Luu 2 High School today. All staff and teachers are qualified and above standard with 16 Masters, 5 people are studying for a Master's degree, 1 person is a PhD student; 19 people have achieved the title of excellent teachers at the provincial level.

In recent years, the school has focused on improving the quality of mass education and key education. Teachers have continuously innovated teaching methods to promote students' initiative. Thanks to that, from the 2003-2004 school year to now, the school has continuously had students achieving university entrance exam scores of 27 points or higher. Notably, in the 2014-2015 school year, in the provincial excellent student competition, Quynh Luu 2 High School was ranked 10th out of 69 participating units, including 1 First Prize, 2 Second Prizes, 8 Third Prizes and 8 Encouragement Prizes.

Comrade Ho Phuc Hop awarded the Prime Minister's Certificate of Merit and the People's Committee of Nghe An province to the collective of Quynh Luu 2 High School.

Comrade Nguyen Thi Kim Chi awarded the National Standard School Certificate to the school.

With the efforts of teachers and students over many years, perfecting each criterion and standard, gradually improving the quality of teaching and learning, taking care to improve the quality of the staff, gradually improving the facilities,... in June 2015, the school was recognized as a National Standard High School. This is the 3rd school out of 7 schools in Quynh Luu district to be recognized with this title.

Individuals awarded Certificates of Merit by the Prime Minister.

On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of its founding, Quynh Luu 2 High School was honored to receive a Certificate of Merit from the Prime Minister; a Certificate of Recognition of a National Standard School from the Ministry of Education and Training.

Individuals were awarded Certificates of Merit by the Chairman of Nghe An Provincial People's Committee.

In addition, 2 individuals received certificates of merit from the Prime Minister and 8 individuals received certificates of merit from the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

On this occasion, Quynh Luu district also presented the school with a plaque bearing the inscription "50 years of construction, growth and development".
