Once the pride of Vinh city (old), however, up to now, after 50 years of use, Quang Trung apartment building, Thanh Vinh ward, Nghe An province has seriously degraded, many items are at risk of collapsing at any time, people always live in a state of insecurity, especially during the rainy season.

According to Thanh Vinh Ward People's Committee, there are still 6 old Quang Trung apartment buildings that still have residents living there and cannot be relocated, including C2, C3, C4, C5, C6 and D2 with a total of about 440 apartments and more than 1,000 residents continuing to stay. Ms. Vo Thi Hai, a resident of Quang Trung apartment building, shared: Because the ceiling often has peeling and falling plaster, she had to hire workers to cover it with a corrugated iron roof to ensure safety.
