Thanh Chuong 3 High School celebrates its 50th anniversary and receives the Third Class Labor Medal

Top unit in the high school education system

Thanh Chuong 3 High School was established in 1975, right after the country achieved peace and reunification. From the bamboo and thatch classrooms in the poor countryside of Phong Thinh commune (now Cat Ngan commune), with the will, efforts and aspirations of teachers and students of many generations, along with the support and assistance of Party committees and authorities at all levels; to this day, the school has become majestic and spacious in terms of facilities, especially in the quality of teaching and learning, and is an educational institution with comprehensive development in the high school education system of Nghe An province.

Thanh Chuong 3 High School was recognized as meeting national standards level 2 in 2022. For many consecutive years, it has maintained the title of excellent advanced school; the graduation rate of students is 100%. The quality of the spearhead is among the top in the province's high school level.

In the 2025 high school graduation exam alone, the school had 2 students with high scores, recognized by the Provincial People's Committee, and 2 students were valedictorians of top universities.

The school's students also actively participate and win high prizes in many competitions organized by the Ministry of Education and Training, Nghe An province and other sectors, such as science and technology competitions, "Teachers in my eyes", "Traffic safety for tomorrow's smiles", National defense education competition, Phu Dong Sports Festival...

Thanh Chuong 3 High School is also recognized for many bright spots in education, training, fostering revolutionary ideals, life skills and vibrant student movements.

In recognition of the efforts and contributions of generations of managers, teachers and students, the Party and State awarded the Third Class Labor Medal in 1995 and the Second Class Labor Medal in 2001.

In 2025, the school continued to be awarded the Third Class Labor Medal by the President (for the second time). The Prime Minister awarded a Certificate of Merit to the Party Committee of Thanh Chuong High School for its outstanding achievements in studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle; along with many Certificates of Merit from the Ministry of Education and Training, Nghe An Provincial People's Committee and other sectors and levels.

Continue to develop the school in the new phase

In his welcoming speech to Thanh Chuong 3 High School, on behalf of the provincial leaders, Meritorious Teacher Vo Van Mai - Deputy Director of Nghe An Department of Education and Training acknowledged and highly appreciated the results that generations of administrators, teachers, school staff and students have cultivated over the past 50 years.

Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training Vo Van Mai emphasized: Currently, the country and homeland are entering a new stage of development with many important policies and guidelines for education and training, requiring Thanh Chuong 3 High School to make greater efforts.

First of all, the school needs to thoroughly grasp Resolution No. 71 of the Politburo on breakthroughs in education and training development, and at the same time, closely follow the action program of the Resolution of the Party Congresses at all levels to build and successfully implement the school development strategy for the period 2025 - 2030.

Continue to promote innovation, creativity, and digital transformation in teaching and learning; build a team of competent, dedicated, and enthusiastic teachers who motivate and inspire students; invest in and upgrade facilities and teaching equipment to meet the requirements of school development in the new period.
