When arriving at the anti-epidemic checkpoint in My Duc commune, Da Teh district, despite the authorities signaling to stop the car, Linh still tried to crash into the iron fence, breaking the plastic rope stretched across the road to escape.
Determining the seriousness of the incident, the checkpoint forces reported it to Da Teh District Police and promptly deployed pursuit plans, determined to arrest the two subjects that same night.
While fleeing, Linh swerved the car to prevent the pursuing force from passing.
When arriving at the middle of Con O Pass, My Duc Commune, a My Duc Commune militiaman drove his motorbike in front of Linh and Thai's motorbike and asked them to stop, but Linh drove his motorbike and pressed the motorbike, causing the militiaman to fall onto the road and get injured.
Police surrounded and arrested two suspects while they were hiding in a rubber garden of a local resident on Con O Pass.
At the police station, Tran Cong Linh and Nguyen Van Thai confessed that they had discussed traveling from Ho Chi Minh City to Gia Lai province and then going to a medical facility to declare and quarantine. However, because they did not have a Covid-19 rapid test certificate and were afraid of being quarantined in another locality, they used a motorbike to go back and passed checkpoints on the way.

Da Teh District Police are completing documents to prosecute the two suspects for resisting law enforcement officers and violating regulations on Covid-19 prevention and control.
