Posthumously awarding the First Class Labor Medal to comrade Nguyen Khang
(Baonghean) - On the morning of August 15, the Party Committee of Doi Cung Ward (Vinh City) solemnly held a ceremony to posthumously award the First Class Labor Medal to comrade Nguyen Khang - a pre-uprising cadre, former Deputy Head of the Department of Communications and Transport of Nghe An province.
Attending the ceremony were comrade Dinh Thi Le Thanh - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; comrade Ho Ngoc Sy - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Director of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development; leaders of the Department of Transport; representatives of comrade Nguyen Khang's extended family.

Comrade Nguyen Khang was born on March 15, 1924, in Thanh Chuong hamlet, quarter 3, Vinh town (now Hong Son ward, Vinh city, Nghe An province). With many contributions to the revolutionary cause of the Party and the nation, he was awarded many noble medals and orders by the Party and the State. With more than 65 years of Party membership, 42 years of revolutionary activities in many fields, with many different positions, he always practiced diligence, thrift, integrity, impartiality and selflessness. From July 1987, Comrade Nguyen Khang retired in block 2, Doi Cung ward (Vinh city). He passed away on April 22, 2014.
At the ceremony, authorized by the President, comrade Dinh Thi Le Thanh - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee awarded the First Class Labor Medal to comrade Nguyen Khang's relatives. Speaking to share the joy with the Doi Cung Ward Party Committee and comrade Nguyen Khang's extended family, comrade Dinh Thi Le Thanh affirmed comrade Nguyen Khang's merits and contributions to the homeland and the country. He is a shining example for every party member to follow.

On behalf of comrade Nguyen Khang's extended family, Mr. Nguyen Van Ninh - the eldest son, expressed his gratitude to the Party and State for recognizing the late comrade Nguyen Khang and vowed that his descendants would follow his shining example and contribute to building the homeland and country to become more and more prosperous.
