Posthumously awarded the Second Class Labor Medal to comrade Pham Dinh Nguyen
(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of February 9, Nghe An Radio and Television Station held a ceremony to posthumously award the Second Class Labor Medal to comrade Pham Dinh Nguyen - former Director of Vinh Regional Television Station.

Comrade Pham Dinh Nguyen was born on December 24, 1923, in Hung Nhan commune, Hung Nguyen district, Nghe An province. During his life of revolutionary activities and journalism, he held the positions of Standing Committee of the District Youth Union for National Salvation, Deputy Head of the Dien Chau National Salvation Cultural Committee, Head of the Nam Dan District Information Department, Head of the Editorial Department of Nghe An Information Service, Editor-in-Chief of the first Nghe An newspaper, Deputy Head of the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, Head of the Nghe An Information Service, Director of Vinh Regional Television Station, Vice President of the Nghe Tinh Journalists Association.
With outstanding achievements contributing to the two resistance wars against France and the US, as well as the process of building and defending the Fatherland, during 27 years of work, comrade Pham Dinh Nguyen was awarded the 50-year Party membership badge, the First-class Resistance War Medal against France, the First-class Resistance War Medal against America for National Salvation, and many Certificates of Merit from the Central and the province.
In recognition of his contributions, the President issued Decision No. 3004/QD-CTN dated November 18, 2014 to posthumously award the Second Class Labor Medal to Comrade Pham Dinh Nguyen.
Authorized by the President, comrade Nguyen Nhu Khoi - Provincial Party Committee member, Director of Nghe An Radio and Television Station presented the Medal to the family representative including the children of comrade Pham Dinh Nguyen.
