Russian TV launches program praising Mr. Putin
The hour-long program "Moscow. Kremlin. Putin" has just aired its first episode on Russian television.

"Moscow. Kremlin. Putin" is broadcast on state television channel Rossiya 1 every Sunday evening. Mr.Vladimir Soloviev, a famous journalist, author of documentaries and books about Putin, is the host, according toTelegraph.
The first episode of the show on September 2 opened with images of the Russian president climbing mountains on vacation in Siberia, meeting schoolchildren and paying his respects to a famous singer who recently died.
"Putin doesn't just love children, he loves people in general. He's a very compassionate person," said Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov, a guest on the show.
The program said the Russian leader had traveled more than 8,000 kilometers across Russia in the past week and explained his fitness with a segment about his Siberian mountain climbing, daily swimming and weight training sessions.

"Moscow. Kremlin. Putin" also touched on the hot topic this week in Russia, the pension reform bill that is facing strong public opposition. The program said that Mr. Putin was responsible for making necessary adjustments to the bill.
Putin regularly appears in Russian media, but this is the first time he has had his own TV series. Spokesman Peskov confirmed that "Moscow. Kremlin. Putin" was not produced by the Kremlin, but was the idea of the Rossiya 1 channel.
