Inspiring young people in Nghe An and Ha Tinh to study abroad

The workshop was attended by directors of prestigious scholarship programs in Vietnam such as VEF, Fulbright (USA), DAAD (Germany), and the Nghe Tinh international student community from all over the world such as UK, France, USA, Russia, Australia, Korea, Singapore, Japan, China, New Zealand, Taiwan...
“Passing the Fire” started in 2009, is an annual volunteer activity of Nghe Tinh Overseas Students Association, providing useful information and interesting sharing of overseas students about the process of living and studying to arouse the desire to study abroad of Nghe Tinh youth and orienting the approach to advanced education in the world. Aiming for the purpose of solidarity, helping each other in life, studying and researching, integrating into the cultural life of other countries and returning to contribute to the homeland.
Participating in the workshop, students and parents of Nghe An and Ha Tinh provinces had the opportunity to learn about the education systems and attractive scholarship information in the world, listen to the sharing of experiences in preparing application documents, career orientation, and life experiences studying abroad through dialogue with international students and successful international students.
Give gifts to students in difficult circumstances.
In particular, in addition to the dialogue right in the hall, participants also have the opportunity to interact with Nghe Tinh international students around the world through Internet connection with Skype calls.
This year’s conference attracted more than 1,000 participants. Also at this conference, the “Nghe Tinh Talent” Scholarship Fund – Accompanying Nghe An to support talent development will also be launched and introduced to a large number of students.
