(Baonghean.vn) -On September 6, at the Thanh Chuong District Cultural Center, the Provincial Social Insurance coordinated with the Department of Education and Training, the Provincial Youth Union, and the People's Committee of Thanh Chuong District to organize a communication conference on student health insurance (HSSV) for the 2013-2014 school year. Attending were principals, heads of the Youth Union, and teams of schools in Thanh Chuong District.

Giving gifts to students who pay large health insurance costs.
The 2013-2014 school year is the 5th year that students are responsible for participating in health insurance (compulsory) instead of voluntarily as before. Currently, the rate of students in the province participating in health insurance is 83.46% (higher than the national average rate of 80.4%). The conference heard the provincial Social Insurance officers disseminate information about compulsory health insurance and student health insurance; organized awards for groups and individuals who performed well in student health insurance; gave gifts to students who paid large health insurance medical examination and treatment costs; and gave health insurance cards to students of Thanh Chuong district who achieved high academic results in the 2012-2013 school year.
The conference also agreed on measures to effectively implement the health insurance policy for students: strengthening the propaganda and dissemination of health insurance policies in general and health insurance for students in particular; strengthening close coordination between state management agencies, social insurance, sectors and mass organizations in implementing health insurance policies and regimes in the area; developing health insurance development plans at each school; improving the quality of school health care to meet the primary health care needs of students...
