VNA donates books to Song Tu Tay commune, Truong Sa

During his visit and work in Truong Sa island district (Khanh Hoa province) on the occasion of the 37th anniversary of the Liberation Day of Truong Sa archipelago (April 29, 1975 - April 29, 2012), on April 15, Mr. Ngo Ha Thai - Deputy General Director of Vietnam News Agency directly presented a bookcase to Song Tu Tay commune.


This is the result of the launch of the program "Vietnam News Agency Youth Builds Bookcases for Beloved Truong Sa".

In just a short time, the staff, reporters, editors and civil servants of the entire VNA sector donated over 2,800 books, more than 820 magazines and dozens of DVDs of documentaries and reports to form a bookshelf.

In addition, this program also supports the reading room with two computers connected to 3G internet and equipment for management and research activities in the reading room.


This bookcase meets the needs of reference, entertainment and learning of knowledge about literature, foreign languages, medical education... for cadres, soldiers and people living and working on the island commune./.
