VNA joins world's leading "electronic newsstand"
On December 7, Vietnam News Agency (VNA) officially cooperated with NewspaperDirect (ND), the world's leading digital content publisher, to bring Vietnamese, English and French newspapers to the award-winning PressReader application as well as the online bookstore PressDisplay.com and the company's global Print-On-Demand system.
On December 7, Vietnam News Agency (VNA) officially cooperated with NewspaperDirect (ND), the world's leading digital content publisher, to bring Vietnamese, English and French newspapers to the award-winning PressReader application as well as the online bookstore PressDisplay.com and the company's global Print-On-Demand system.
Millions of readers can now access Vietnamese and foreign language newspapers in print and on websites, tablets and smartphones.
The first publications of VNA to be uploaded to NewspaperDirect's system include News, Sports & Culture, Vietnam News (English), and Le Courrier du Vietnam (French).
“By partnering with NewspaperDirect, we can quickly bring our newspapers to readers wherever they are, in print, on computers and on mobile devices,” said Mr. Ngo Ha Thai, Deputy General Director of VNA. “The electronic information business is developing extremely rapidly and VNA’s major press brands need to be present on all channels. NewspaperDirect’s digital publishing technology helps us bring our high-quality, trustworthy content to a wide range of readers.”

All contents of VNA newspapers are uploaded to NewspaperDirect's electronic system, including tablets using iOS, Android, Windows and BlackBerry operating systems./.
VNA newspapers that will be uploaded to this system include:
• Daily newspapers: Tin Tuc Daily, Vietnam News Daily, Sports & Culture (sports/culture)
• Weekly newspapers: Weekend News, Weekend Sports & Culture, Vietnam News Sunday, Le Courrier du Vietnam, Vietnam Law & Legal Forum
• Monthly newspapers: Outlook, Vietnam Pictorial, Science and Technology
