These 3 types of modern drugs are provided by the Ministry of Health at the request of the Ministry of Public Security and the Ministry of National Defense.

Death row inmates mainly committed murder, robbery and drug trafficking.
According to Major General Nguyen Ngoc Anh (Director of the Legal Department, Ministry of Public Security), the project of lethal injection for death row inmates has been carefully studied, selectively absorbing foreign laws and experiences, in line with the general trend of criminal execution in countries around the world and the practical conditions of Vietnam. The person sentenced to death will suffer less pain, ensuring the body remains intact.
The decree on execution by lethal injection takes effect from November 1.
