From February 1, 2019, gas prices increased sharply to 12,000 VND/12kg cylinder
Due to increased production and investment costs, the companies adjusted the total increase to 12,000 VND.

Saigon Petro - Ho Chi Minh City Petroleum One Member Co., Ltd. announced that from February 1, 2019, the selling price of Saigon Petro gas increased by VND12,000 per 12kg cylinder. Accordingly, the maximum retail price to consumers is VND332,000 per 12kg cylinder.
Similarly, Pacific Petro Gas Company, City Gas, ELF Gas also increased 12,000 VND for 12 kg cylinder. The retail price to consumers does not exceed 329,000 VND/12 kg cylinder.
Meanwhile, Petrolimex Gas Saigon also increased by 12,000 VND/12kg cylinder. The retail price to consumers is 332,500 VND/12kg cylinder.
Sharing the reason for the continued increase in gas prices in February, some companies said that the world gas price in February was announced at 445 USD/ton, an increase of 30 USD/ton compared to the previous month.
In addition, due to increased production and investment costs, adding these costs together, the companies adjusted the total increase to VND 12,000.
Thus, this is the second consecutive month in 2019 that gas prices have increased, a total of 16,000 VND/12kg cylinder.
