From 11am on November 22, gasoline prices decreased for the 10th time.
This is the 10th consecutive reduction in gasoline prices. Accordingly, the new prices of gasoline types are: RON 92 gasoline is 20,251 VND/liter; 0.05S diesel is 18,657 VND/liter; Kerosene is 19,250 VND/liter; 180CST 3.5S mazut is 15,141 VND/kg.

According to the announcement of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, this adjustment to reduce gasoline prices is based on the actual price movements of gasoline and finished oil products in the world in the 15-day price calculation cycle, from November 7, 2014 to November 21, 2014, the average price of Singapore Platt for RON 92 gasoline is 87.659 USD/barrel, 0.05S diesel is 94.034 USD/barrel, kerosene is 96.940 USD/barrel and 180CST 3.5S mazut is 457.442 USD/ton;
In addition to reducing selling prices, the Ministry of Industry and Trade requested to maintain the current Price Stabilization Fund allocation level of VND600/liter and kg for all types of gasoline and oil.

According to Petrolimex leaders, the reduction in gasoline prices this time comes from the practical developments in finished gasoline prices on the world market during the pricing cycle, in accordance with the principles of determining selling prices in Decree No. 83/2014/ND-CP dated September 3, 2014 of the Government on gasoline trading (Decree 83) and documents guiding the implementation of Decree 83 of the Ministry of Industry and Trade - Ministry of Finance.
This is the 10th consecutive time that gasoline prices have been adjusted down, and each time the reduction is always larger than the previous one. Most recently, on November 7, gasoline companies reduced the price by up to 950 VND/liter for gasoline.
