The Directorate for Roads of Vietnam has announced the transmission of data from the journey monitoring device (GSHT) installed on taxis and freight vehicles to the Directorate for Roads of Vietnam.

The Vietnam Road Administration requests the Department of Transport of provinces and cities to notify transport businesses in the area; units providing equipment and services for monitoring car journeys to transmit data of all journey monitoring devices installed by the units on taxis, tractors pulling trailers, semi-trailers, and trucks according to the provisions of the Decree.86/2014/ND-CPto IP address 27.118.27.118 (server of Vietnam Road Administration) according to unified data transmission format and protocol.

Time to transmit data to the server of Vietnam Road Administration starts from July 15, 2015.

The Directorate for Roads of Vietnam requests that the Departments of Transport compile statistics on units and vehicles that have been granted taxi transport business licenses and send them to the Directorate for Roads of Vietnam to update data into the system before July 20, 2015. After updating, the Departments are requested to log into the system to check.

For freight transport business units, the Department of Transport shall update and compare information to ensure the accuracy of data transmitted by transport business units and service providers to the Vietnam Road Administration to exploit and use data from journey monitoring devices according to regulations in Clause 2, Article 9 of the Circular.09/2015/TT-BGTVT.
